Casting
Rhys continues on his ill-fated (in our opinion) mission to create a feature film for a mere 43 Pounds. As such he is attempting to cast from literal unknowns. One such unknown is a lad named Josh, who bared his backside in a pivotal scene in Zombie Undead.
We were there as Rhys went through the casting process, attempting to find Josh’s love interest for ‘After The Thaw’. After numerous girls didn’t make the grade, seems Josh’s real-life girlfriend Marie may well be filling the role. Can she act? Watch This Space!!!!
Low Budget To No Budget
Whilst we filming snippets at the premiere of ‘Zombie Undead’, We managed to catch a brief exchange between director Rhys Davies & producer Stella Michaelson….seems all is not going well on the budget front. There was some discussion of making the film for, if you can believe this, 43 POUNDS!!!
Apparently this is to break some kind of record! As of this point, we the documentary makers have more money to make our film than Rhys does his. Seems the journey we’re here to document has just become that much more interesting……
The Making Of A Movie
As a ‘Making Of’ Documentary Film Maker, I get to follow some of the most talented and creative people in the Entertainment Business. One such individual is Rhys Davies, Director of Zombie Undead.
Rhys is currently filming his follow up film, a project he has repeatedly described as Cinematic, Epic and Fantastic. Entitled ‘After The Thaw’, and written by the reclusive author ‘Rod Duncan’, we have been given almost unlimited access to the minds behind what is sure to be a masterpiece. As we do this, we’ll be keeping you updated with ‘behind the scenes’ snippets and gossip.
